The take-home wellness report card — the moment what a groomer notices on the floor becomes something the client actually sees, keeps, and starts to trust as a record over time.
Logbook is the client's record and visit history — specifically the structured report a staff member files after every visit. It's not a receipt. It's evidence that the attentive care a business promises actually happened, filed the same way every time, by every groomer, for every pet.
Logbook doesn't originate the observation — it publishes it. Everything a groomer notices mid-visit in Compass becomes the raw material for the report that goes home with the client.
The dimensions Logbook assesses, and what they're called, are set per brand — not hardcoded. Bark & Purr, the reference tenant, built its own five-dimension version:
At Bark & Purr, this brand-layer skin carries its own branded report name, scored on their "Zen Scale" tier — Logbook is the universal dev-side engine underneath it; another tenant gets its own name and dimensions on the same core.
The staff-facing report — the structured check-in, the observations, the optional photo, and publishing to the client — is live and in real use today. Every visit at the reference tenant produces a real Logbook entry.
What's still ahead: today the report reaches the client by email with a secure link. A logged-in Client Portal home for the report — and the pet's full accumulated history in one place — is built and staged, but not yet live for customers. Self-service actions inside that future portal (adding a pet, editing a profile) are still coming-soon placeholders even once it ships.
Market it as what it is: a real, staff-verified wellness record filed on every visit, delivered by email today, with a permanent logged-in home on the way.
Not a demo account — bring a real service and we'll show you the report your client would take home.
